Only Israel can Survive a self-destructive Government

Try to imagine turning on your local radio station and hearing an interview with Osama bin Ladin. The master terrorist promises no more terror attacks outside of New York City if George Bush agrees to grant him amnesty and a place on the White House lawn to erect his tent.
Absurd you say? Well maybe so, but I just listened to a radio interview on the Voice of Israel and it was amazingly similar.

Yes, our own national radio station regularly grants nationwide publicity to enemies of the Jewish State who use this platform to weaken Israeli morale. Jibril Rajoub, another former terrorist turned "politician" is very good at what he does. He has memorized key phrases which he knows will enamor him with the Israeli left and drops those phrases frequently where they are eagerly reported by our self-hating media.

We were treated to the wonderful news that Hamas is prepared to join the PLO. (What could be better than having our enemies working together to destroy us?) Rajoub repeated the Israeli lie that there is no military solution, only a political one. What that means is that Israel commits itself not to destroy our enemies, rather to submit to their demands via negotiations. He told his Jewish audience that the PLO is committed to stop murdering Jews inside the green line. (The idea is that those of us living in Judea and Samaria should "escape" to Tel Aviv before the PLO murders us). All the PLO wants is two countries for two peoples. Never mind that we all know that the PLO and all Arab nations seek the complete destruction of the Jewish State. Never mind that Jibril Rajoub is himself a terrorist murderer of Jewish women and children. Hey, this guy is really talking peace! He wouldn't lie!

I am neither surprised nor upset with Jibril Rajoub. He is acting as a self respecting terrorist and doing a very good job at demoralizing the Israeli public, with the help of the self- hating Israeli media. What really disturbs me is how my government permits enemy propaganda to be broadcast on our own state radio! It is like Osama bin Ladin being given prime time on NBC or CBS to demoralize the USA!

By announcing his intention to unilaterally surrender Gaza to the PLO and having his defense minister consult with our enemies as if they were a friendly state, Sharon is personally conducting a campaign which is designed to destroy Israel. Is there a better, more accurate, definition of treason? How can such people be permitted to continue to rule? How can such people escape arrest and prosecution? How can we deny that Israel is currently in the middle of a war for its very survival? How can we ignore that war and pretend that we are making peace with the very leaders in the effort to destroy us?

All of the above only proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are part of a Divine Process. No other nation in the world could survive such leadership. No other nation in the world would tolerate such a leadership. What we refuse to understand is that our real leader is the Living G-d of Israel. He is laughing at our government (and maybe crying at the same time). He will let them commit their follies. But He will never forsake His People, Israel.
