Redemption Continues
Gary Cooperberg January 24, 2006
It is truly amazing how the Israeli government has completely abandoned its obligations to the country it is supposed to serve. Every candidate for Prime Minister has his own plan for creating an enemy Arab state upon Jewish soil. Even if there were genuine hope that the PLO would be willing to live in peace with us in exchange for our abandoning parts of our homeland, it would still be absurd for us to consider doing so. How much more absurd and embarrassing it is for us to go ahead with our one sided compromises as our enemies continue to vow to destroy us.
At the end of March we Israelis are supposed to go to the polls to decide which suicidal plan we prefer. Should we just unilaterally surrender to our enemies? Should we insist that they promise to live in peace with us and then give away parts of our country to them? Or should we make them promise to live in peace with us and just give them a little at a time?
Look far and wide and see if you can find one self respecting candidate who would dare suggest that we destroy the PLO and throw out every Arab who identifies himself as a “palestinian”. Why are we embarrassed to recognize the fact that Israel is a Jewish State? Why do our leaders insist upon giving democratic rights to those who seek to destroy the Jewish State? There is no recognition on the part of our leaders of the need to guarantee the Jewish identity of our only homeland as they willingly seek to both share it with our Arab enemies as well as build them a new state devoid of Jews on Jewish soil!/p>
I have deliberately made plans to be outside of Israel on election day. I want no part of this pretend democracy which would make me a willing partner to our efforts to destroy ourselves. The Jewish State is the beginning of fulfillment of G-d’s Plan to redeem His world. This plan will continue despite the efforts of both our enemies and our foolish leaders to thwart it. I am proud and grateful to be living in Israel. I have children and grandchildren who were born here and thrive here. I have complete faith that, in spite of our misleaders, we will continue to grow and see our beloved country transformed into a Divine entity which will serve our G-d and bring genuine peace to our planet.
On March 19, I will be arriving in the USA. Sunday night I will appear on the LOTS television program broadcast from Midland Texas. Monday and Tuesday nights will be in different locations in Texas. At present Wednesday, March 22, through the following Sunday, March 26, are still available. On Monday and Tuesday I will be attending the Vision America conference in Washington DC, and on Wednesday I will be speaking near Orlando Florida, departing for home on Thursday afternoon.
Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike, to open our eyes to the G-dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.
