Christian Zionists and Moslem Terrorists
Gary Cooperberg September 7, 2006
Although I seldom use my column to publish the writings of others, I strongly urge you to follow the link to read Joseph Farah’s recent article “How Israel causes Mideast Conflict”:

This article is further proof that redemption is progressing. Although we Jews seem to be the last to notice, both Christian Zionists and fanatical Islamic terrorists do recognize the Jewish role in redemption. One is bent upon encouraging redemption, while the other seeks to hamper it.
An earlier example of this same issue occurred during the Madrid conference. The Israeli representative was confronted by the Syrian representative who told him that the Israeli really did not believe that Israel belongs to the Jews. When the Israeli tried to deny the allegation the Syrian smugly and correctly remarked, “If you really believe that Israel belongs to you, why are you here negotiating it?”
The state of Israel is a G-dly process which is designed to eventually lead to world Redemption and genuine peace via world recognition of and obedience to the One G-d of Creation. The problem is that the Jewish leadership in Israel fails to believe in G-d. It thus seeks to conduct its affairs via non-Jewish guidelines. It seeks to make peace by violating G-dly principles, which, in effect, accomplishes the exact opposite of what they seek.
Biblical destiny cannot be thwarted, either by Israel’s enemies, nor by her misleaders. G-d has sent two messengers to the Jewish people: Christian Zionists, who visit Israel regularly and contribute millions of dollars to support the Zionist process, and who actively encourage Israel to act like a Jewish nation; and Arab terrorists who seek to destroy Israel and thus force her to unite, since even political morons and extreme leftists still have a remnant of a survival instinct.
The Passover Hagaddah reminds us that “in every generation there arise those who seek to destroy us. But G-d, in His Mercy, rescues us from their hand.” Why is this so? It would seem that, were we not faced with a physical threat of destruction, we would succumb to spiritual self-destruction. G-d will not permit us to flee from our Divine obligations. When we seek to escape our destiny He finds ways to put us back on the right path. When we, as a nation, pay attention to the messages He is sending to us and begin to conduct all of our affairs according to Biblical mandates, not only will we defeat terror once and for all, we will hasten Redemption and bring peace to all of the nations of the world.
