Judgment is Coming

Prime Minister Olmert went to war last year in order to free kidnapped Jewish soldiers. A year later, after failing to accomplish his objective, he is now about to release two hundred fifty Arab terrorists as a "goodwill" gesture. If this is just a gesture, one shudders to imagine the price he is prepared to pay to release our captives. Maybe we should send our scientists into Iran and help them to build their nuclear capabilities.
Netanyahu wants to invite Jordanian troops into Judea and Samaria to "protect" us from Hamas, and we remember what Barak was prepared to give away to Arafat for "peace". Woe unto a nation which is cursed with such misleaders. It is said that the G-d of Israel watches over this nation day and night. Who can deny that saying? Any other nation which had such a leadership would have perished decades ago. Yet, in spite of our suicidal leadership our country continues to grow and develop in defiance of logic and stupidity.
Unless by some quirk of fortune Moshe Feiglin gets elected to lead the Likud, I certainly will not participate in the next Israeli election. To vote in an election which gives you a choice among Olmert, Bibi, and Barak, is not a choice. It is an invitation to lend your stamp of approval to this country's mockery of democracy and to legitimize the continuation of a policy of self-destruction.
Back in 1948 the Arab nations mounted a war of annihilation against Israel and failed to accomplish their aim. But they never gave up on their dream. Israeli leaders, on the other hand, have consistently determined not to win any war completely so as not to demoralize our enemies (or as they prefer to call them, our "peace partners"). So all we have accomplished in nearly six decades of war is to encourage our enemies in their hope to eventually succeed in destroying the Jewish State. I remember Netanyahu warmly clutching Arafat's hand in both of his. I remember him telling Arafat that he is "very kind" after getting flowers from him on his birthday. And I remember Barak's dance with Arafat at Camp David. Now we have Olmert trying to give support to the man who masterminded the Munich Massacre of Jewish athletes. Were he a true Jewish leader he would take Gaza back and throw both the PLO and Hamas out of our country.
What is wrong with recognizing the fact that the Arab world still dreams of destroying Israel? What is wrong with Israel taking serious steps to protect itself from her enemies? What is wrong with removing our enemies who live among us from our country? What is right with having Arab enemies as citizens in our country much less sitting in our Knesset?
One needn't be a political genius to see the grave dangers our leaders continue to force upon us. I remember Entebbe. There was no international discussion as how to handle the Iraqi threat. Israel simply did what it had to do and faced the music afterwards. She was condemned by most of the nations at the time, but history proved her to have been right. How dare we allow ourselves the luxury of gaining world approval before doing what we must do to save our nation from nuclear holocaust!
America is not far behind. Bush did well to destroy Saddam Hussein. But he would have been wiser to appoint a surrogate government to replace him and then let the Arabs do their own thing under American control. If the American leadership cannot see the Moslem world infiltrating their country and preparing to include America under Islamic rule, then her war against terror is a meaningless thing. To pretend that Islam is just another religion worshiping the same G-d as do Christians and Jews is an act of self deception which we can ill afford. Freedom cannot survive without certain basic limitations. We dare not allow Moslems the freedom to plan the destruction of the USA. But this is exactly what is happening.
How patriotic it was to arrest and imprison Jonathan Pollard who was guilty of warning Israel of a pending Arab attack...an act which the USA should have performed as an ally of Israel! This was truly an act of appeasement to the Arab world...not of justice.
After the attack on the World Trade Center America should have arrested all Moslem groups which preach anti-American views. Rather than confiscate bottles of water from elderly women at airports, every Moslem traveler should be carefully examined before being allowed access to our airports. Let us not fear accusation of discrimination. It is proper to discriminate between those who may be a danger and those who are not likely to be. If we treat all Americans as if they are potential terrorists then we have given the real terrorists a victory.
The United States and Israel should be partners. They both were founded upon Biblical principles and recognized G-d as a partner in their creation. Both won their independence from Britain. Yet, today, both seem to have drifted from the basic principles by which they were created. America is seeking to take G-d out of government and remove Him as a partner. It is beginning to embrace abominations of same sex marriages and pornography. And Israel is following on the same path. Both countries desperately need new leadership and new direction.
Biblical Redemption will come in spite of us. But the further we sink into moral depravity the greater suffering we will be made to endure when our world is judged by its Creator. Unless we take serious steps to return to our G-dly roots, we bring upon ourselves the needless tragedy which we are already beginning to see.
