Time is Running Out

As a lame duck president, George Bush has a primary goal to establish himself as one who has made significant achievements during his terms in office. It would seem that he seeks to accomplish this feat on the back of the Jewish State. Clearly much pressure has been placed upon Israel to make dangerous concessions to her enemies in the name of “peace”.

It is no coincidence that precisely at this time the USA government “discovered” an aging “spy” who allegedly passed on sensitive military information to Israel in the 1980s. One cannot help but wonder why this fellow was never discovered until just now. And, right on the heels of this interesting information, we learn that Olmert is offering to give away the entire Golan Heights to Syria! Another “coincidence”?

While the spokesman for the state department gently slapped our wrists by saying that friendly nations don’t spy upon one another, the fact is that America has always been spying upon Israel. This is something that all nations do. A better question is “Why should Israel need to spy upon the USA?” Jonathon Pollard did not betray American security interests.

What he did was to inform Israel of very real and present dangers from Arab nations. This was information which the USA should have voluntarily given to Israel. The real reason Pollard was so harshly punished is because his actions proved that America failed to live up to her obligations to her ally, Israel, and instead preferred to endanger the Jewish State rather than offend Arab interests.

Pollard was no spy. He was always a loyal citizen of the United States.
He found himself in a position which gave him no choice. Either he shut his mouth and allow Israel to suffer a serious military blow, or risk his own safety to protect Israel. In the end he was betrayed by both Israel and the US.

There are powers in the United States government which find an overwhelming need to pacify the interests of the Arab nations. Israel has always been the patsy for those powers. Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations have invested enormous sums in the United States and have established tremendous political clout in that country. Israel has always suffered as a result. As those powers increase, greater pressure is put upon the Jewish State to make suicidal concessions for “peace”.

Yet the real goal is not peace. It is the destruction of the Jewish State. Thus, when our leaders offer to make concessions to our enemies, they are actually full partners in the effort to destroy the Jewish State.

Ben-Ami Kadish is but the latest pawn in the effort to bring Israel to its knees and force suicidal concessions from her. Israeli leaders have yet to show the willingness to stand up to the pressure. They are cowards who lie to themselves about a fraudulent “peace process” even as they commit treason against their own country. What they have never learned from recent history is the fact that they are unable to destroy Israel. This country was reborn in spite of our leaders, not because of them. And it grows and thrives the same way. Any honest observer cannot help but see that the continued existence of this tiny country from day to day is truly an inexplicable miracle. Friends, foes and even our own leadership have been working to undermine this country from the moment it was reborn. It defies reason that such a country is able to exist.

One needn’t be a prophet nor even a religious person to observe the supernatural intervention which enables Israel to not only exist, but to grow and thrive, when, by logic, she should have perished even before she was reborn! One needn’t be a religious fanatic to see that this country is not merely another nation. It is the beginning of fulfillment of Biblical prophesy, and clearly a nation which is watched over by our Creator. No power on Earth, not even our own Jewish leadership, can destroy this holy nation. Our mistakes can bring us needless tragedy, as they have done and still do. But, despite the setbacks, Israel continues to grow. Her children will eventually all come home and this nation will become the light unto the nations she was always destined to be. Clearly this will be the greatest miracle of all.

So, in spite of all of the logical reasons to give up on Israel, the future of the world is dependent upon her. Willingly or otherwise the Jewish People will come home. This is our destiny. Those who pick up and come home in spite of the way things look magnify the Name of G-d and hasten Redemption. Those who refuse to heed their destiny not only bring tragedy upon themselves, but will find that their destiny will catch up with them anyway. There is a big difference between one who expresses his faith by coming home in spite of the way things appear, and one who fails to express his faith and is forced to come home against his will.

No one knows how much longer we will have the opportunity to make the choice. One can only hope that Jews living in Exile will open their eyes and see the development of the cancerous growth of antisemitism. It will not go away. There is only one antidote to this disease and that is Jewish homecoming. . . aliyah. Don’t wait for the Exile to vomit you out. Come home now, as proud Jews.

Israel is not a political entity, rather the expression of Biblical Destiny. The United States of America has become the great country she is only because she too was established upon Biblical principles. Today those principles are being rejected and thus the future of this great nation is in peril. Project Shofar is sounding the alarm. For the Jew it is time to come home. For the Gentile it is time to try and bring America back to her Biblical roots.
