Now Young Arab Mothers Are Becoming Human Bombs

Gary Cooperberg
January 15, 2004

Our Rabbis tell us that to save one Jewish life is as if you have saved the entire world. How can it be, then, that in the reborn Jewish state, the one place in the world where Jews can truly defend themselves and stand up to their enemies, not only do we find so many innocent Jewish civilians being murdered, but our government and mighty army are afraid to take the steps necessary to destroy our enemies and save Jewish lives?

Aside from the horror of watching young parents, little children, and elderly folks murdered on buses, in market places and on our roads, the fact that Jewish life seems to have less value than the comforts of Arabs in Israel is abominable. It is also a desecration of our G-d. It would seem that our G-d is incapable of protecting His people. It is we who are responsible for this impression, since it is we who refuse to take the necessary steps to stop the continued murder of our people.

It is not enough to build fences and to have our security forces attempt the impossible by trying to stop all of the attempts to murder us. As good as our forces are, and as many terrorists as they prevent from murdering us, there is no way to find every Arab mother who is prepared to commit suicide in order to murder Jews. There is only one way to stop these kinds of murders and that is to remove all potential murderers from our midst. Given the indisputable fact that any Arab of any age is a potential bomb, we cannot afford the luxury of providing Arabs with the continued right to live in our country.

Those who consider such a solution as "racist" do not really understand the meaning of the word. A racist is one who hates people only because of their race. To remove Arabs from Israel is not because we hate them or because they are Arabs. It is because there is no other way for us to protect our population from bombs and bullets. Yes, indeed, there are many Arabs who do not want to kill us. But there is no way for us to know for sure which ones these are. Certainly innocent Arabs will suffer from such a stance. It is a shame that this has to happen. But the alternative is for us to continue to allow Jews to be murdered at random. This is not a reasonable alternative.

If we had a government that was truly responsible it would immediately set up a program to remove all Arabs from all Jewish lands under our control. Instead of wasting money on a gigantic wall, this money could be used to help relocate Arabs to other countries. We should immediately redo the Gaza and Jericho first plan, and have those areas used as temporary transit camps to move all of our Arabs, including those in Judea and Samaria, until we can help them resettle in other countries. The only road map plan that will work is one that will lead all of our Arab population out of Israel. We cannot afford to continue to allow murderers free access to our country, nor can we continue to permit PLO autonomy. Arafat should be arrested, tried and executed along with his henchmen. This should be understood as our contribution to the war against terror. To continue as we are is nothing short of criminal.

Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike, to open our eyes to the G-dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.
